Two months ago I was mentally preparing for a rotten seven month deployment. One month ago, I was feeling overwhelmed that it had only been one month since Cader left and we were still looking at 6 more to go. Two weeks ago I was getting excited at the mere possibility of my hubby coming back *ghasp* early! Like, Christmas early! One week ago, I was putting my notice in at work and house hunting over the internet... yep it's that soon. We don't/won't have a specific day, but just to be on the safe side my last day at WTB is October 9th. I am hoping to be on the road by the 12th. I am so thankful Ken is helping us. For those of you that really know me, you know I get lost easily. Is that an understatement? Probably. Either way now all I have to do is help read the map- I can do that!
Cader is holding up really well, keeping busy with testing for his FMF pin, (click to read about it)and has so far passed two out of three tests. The last one is the hardest and he's pretty nervous. It involves a LOT of memorization which neither of us are good at. I know he's getting a little frustrated with his surroundings, I'm hoping this doesn't distract him from studying!
Keiran and I are doing well, I am completely overwhelmed with packing up everything again though. I know this will be the last time for hopefully a while, but who knows. It will be easier with Cader, that's for sure!
Two of my most favorite people in the entire world are coming to stay with Keiran and I over the weekend, my girlfriend Tosha and her sweet little man Peyton! I can't wait; I know this might be the last time I get to see them for a long time.
Now if you will excuse me, I have an attention starved kid calling me!
